2009-2010 CIF/NFHS Athletic Participation Census

The CIF requests the assistance and cooperation of school principals and athletic directors in filling out the following census.  Every year this information is requested by the NFHS (National Federation of High Schools).  Due to the large number of schools in California, the CIF has been requesting this information only every two years; however, due to many factors and the ease of filling out the survey online, the CIF will be compiling participation data every year.  The CIF and many groups use the numbers compiled by this survey often, it is extremely critical that your school fills the survey out completely and accurately.
We know it is time consuming, but the information gathered is invaluable.

High School Fundraiser Opportunity

CIF-member schools have the opportunity to raise much-needed funds by simply agreeing to license their school names, logos and mascots.

The CIF has entered into a three-year "pilot" program with Learning Resource Group (LRG). LRG will do all of the work by entering into an agreement with large "box" stores such as Walmart that sell merchandise using your school names, logos and mascots. They will collect any royalties from the sale of your school merchandise and that will be passed on to your school on a quarterly basis.

See the information linked below and if you have any questions, please contact Todd Flournoy, CIF Director of Marketing at tflournoy@cifstate.org
